The first two are equipped with “oscillating blades” while the third machine is equipped with a “fast wire” mechanism used for cutting all closed-cell profiles, from boat fenders to archery targets.

What is a Wintech and why are they so special?

The Wintech is a foam profiling machine made right here in Perth, Westrn Australia. This feature-packed and versatile machine can convolute, spiral peel a roll and cut extremely intricate shapes.

The Wintech employs an oscillating blade process for cutting flexible foam. They are equipped with a thin, sharp blade that moves backwards and forwards at high speeds. Unlike a band knife, the oscillating blades offers unlimited twisting ability.

The slicing method used by the Wintech eliminates the generation of dust. This results in a clean, dust-free surface on the finished product, which is crucial for mattresses, pillows, and medical applications.
